If you would like to know more about this service, further details can be found on the .gov website \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/legalisation-document-checker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/gov.uk\/legalisation-document-checker<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What to do before applying for Apostille<\/h2>\n<p>To have your Disclosure Scotland\/DBS apostilled by the FCO, it is necessary to have the document stamped by an authorised signatory from Disclosure Scotland\/Disclosure and Barring Service. The stamp will be enough to confirm to the FCO that the document you have presented is in fact an original.
